
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.58% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Cibest SA (BVC: CIBEST ), which rose 1.96% or 1,000.00 points to trade at 52,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco De Bogota SA (BVC: BBO ) added 1.58% or 500.00 points to end at 32,200.00 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ) was up 1.48% or 660.00 points to 45,140.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos SA (BVC: CCB ), which fell 8.71% or 930.00 points to trade at 9,750.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) declined 4.62% or 320.00 points to end at 6,600.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ) was down 4.16% or 2,280.00 points to 52,500.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) fell to all time lows; losing 4.62% or 320.00 to 6,600.00.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.39% or 4.20 to $297.65 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 6.07% or 503.00 to hit $7,784.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.85% or 28.70 to trade at $3,330.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 4,034.26, while BRL/COP rose 0.03% to 725.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 98.34.
